South Shore Adventure

SOUTH SHORE ADVENTURE.
 
Duration ca. 10 hours.
 
Heading east we drive through mountains, lava fields and then the fertile farmland in the south to reach the days destinations, the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. We'll visit the folk-museum at Skogar, one of the most popular museums in Iceland. Passing through some of the most beautiful and varied landscape in Iceland we'll head to Vik, a small coastal village in the south. We'll take a walk on a beach near Vik and during the summer you can observe puffins, the Icelandic National Bird. Heading back towards Reykjavik we'll make a detour to the glacier Solheimajökull.
