This day-tour is considered a "classic" and is one of our most popular excursions. Among the highlights are some of the most famous sights in Iceland, such as the waterfall Gullfoss - the Golden Waterfall - considered by many to be the most beautiful of the Icelandic waterfalls.
 
We also explore the hot-spring-area of the Old Geysir, the "father" of spouting springs. Geysir hasn't been very active in recent years, but its mate Strokkur is very active, spouting hot water-fountains up into the air every few minutes.

 
Another highlight of this tour is Thingvellir, the site of the old Icelandic Parliament and one of the best examples of the drifting of continents.
